Platform Classification
Compea operates as a digital comparison engine, referral platform, and intermediary marketplace. It is not an insurer, financial services provider, licensed payment services provider, or traditional retailer in the standard commercial flow. Its primary function is to aggregate, organise, and present third-party product data to users, and to route users to third-party seller websites to complete transactions.

Consumer Protection Alignment
Compea Ltd is committed to transparent and non-deceptive commercial practices. The Platform clearly identifies itself as a comparison and referral intermediary, not as the seller of products. Commercial relationships - including affiliate and sponsored placement arrangements - are disclosed to users. The Platform's ranking and recommendation outputs are not presented as objective, unqualified endorsements.
Commercial Transparency
Compea discloses to users that product rankings may be influenced by commercial arrangements between Compea Ltd and sellers or affiliate networks; sponsored or featured placements may be displayed alongside organic comparison results; and outbound links may generate affiliate commission for Compea Ltd upon a qualifying purchase. These disclosures are made in the Platform's footer, applicable policy pages, and interface elements as appropriate.
Audit and Enforcement Readiness
Compea Ltd maintains comprehensive operational records to support regulatory review, including server and access logs; attribution and click-tracking records; seller onboarding and compliance records; complaint and dispute records; and user consent logs. These records are retained in accordance with the data retention schedules set out in the Privacy Policy and are available to authorised regulatory bodies upon lawful request.
